Santa Claus is coming to town!

So we decided to go see Santa yesterday after Church.

Kelby loved him. She was soooo excited. She sat on his lap like a big girl and told him what she wanted for Christmas. She told him she wanted a Disney Princess Bed, a Guitar, and a Dog Purse like her cousin Neali's. She had a whole conversation with Santa! It was so cute. After she was finished, she gave him a hug and said I'll see ya my house. Made me melt.

Now Miss Briley Jo was another situation. As  you can see the child wanted nothing to do with that man. She was scared to death. I put her on his lap, and she went to crying. I put the binky in her mouth, and it wasn't helping either. As soon as the picture was taken, I picked her up and she was fine. Except for all the dirty looks she was giving him. It was a little funny.

Hopefully next year will be different. Kelby didn't mind Santa last year, but the year before that she did the same thing as Briley. Maybe I can do some brain-washing over the next year. We will see.

Oh and Santa, if you're reading this, I want a lot of money for Christmas!!!

Thanksgiving Break...

Well Thanksgiving break was almost perfect. We had a great time seeing our family and of course eating. The only thing that didn't make it perfect was that the Warriors lost. No bueno. My husband is now in his deep depression for the year. There were a couple of things that are making him pretty happy right now. 1. his girls, 2. OU WON!, and  3. He is going to the Big 12 Championship game. Other than that, he is not always a happy camper. He will be good once spring football gets here.

I will say I pretty happy about the football season. Brad had less time to work with these kids than he has ever had with a team. Honestly, they had the less talent of any team he has coached too. They have the biggest hearts though, and they worked extreamly hard. They were not picked to make the playoffs, and ended up in a 3 way tie for first place. They ended up second after points. They made it all the way to the state-quarter finals and really should have beat the team they played. We had a few mistakes that cost us, big! Oh well, maybe next year. It will be a re-building year again. We lose some seniors that will be missed. I think the younger kids are gonna be ready to work hard, and they'll be ready to get on the field after what we did this year.

I almost feel like I have nothing to get ready for. Brad says he's gonna be bored for the rest of the year. As long as we don't end up with another kiddo showing up in 9 months, we will have had a great successful year. I am due up to have another one on this off-season break. Hopefully, we can wait another 2 more years. That's the plan so far. Lord-willing. I pray for no ice storms. They get us into trouble ya know. LOL!

Well I'll have to tell ya about Kelby and Briley's visit to Santa....

Thanksgiving Week.....BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!

This week will be crazy for the Beller family.
Today, I am working and trying to get as much stuff done as I possibly can at the fitness center and B&H.
Tomorrow we have Kelby's Thanksgiving meal at her school. All of her friends at school will bring their families to eat. It will be good to see Kelby learning about Thanksgiving. She is starting to pick up on soooo much now. She is understanding about Christmas and Santa. She never has understood what Santa is all about, but this year you can tell she knows all about him and how to be good or no presents. She is learning about how Jesus's birthday is Christmas, and she keeps saying Happy Birthday Jesus! It's so cute.
Wednesday I am packing and cooking to get ready for the Holiday! We are leaving that afternoon to go to Lake Arbuckle for the Beller's Thanksgiving. We will stay the night there. Then Brad has to get up and go to football practice Thursday morning.
Thursday, Turkey Day, is going to be great! We are waking up and going to Konawa to see my family. We will have Thanksgiving and decide about what to do for Christmas. I am leaving Kelby and Miss Briley Jo with mom and dad till Saturday! I am not taking the girls with me to Colcord. It's too far, and it's gonna be cold. Plus, we play better when the girls aren't there. Yes, I am superstitious. Then after we spend the day at Konawa, we are coming back for one more night at Lake Arbuckle.
Friday, Game Day, we are getting up and going home to get ready for a long trip to Colcord. The Warriors won last Friday, and I hope we do it again. Brad said that Colcord is pretty good. He said that we should match up well with them. He's pretty optimistic and has high hopes. I hope our kids continue to improve as they are. We are leaving for Colcord at 2:00p.m. The Warriors are leaving at 10:30a.m. So far we have 4 charter buses full. Plus all the people who will just drive. We are driving. I am so excited and I pray we do well. After the game, we are headed home.
Saturday, I will venture back to Konawa and pick up my girls. After that, we will have Thanksgiving that night with the Shipley side of the family back at Washington. We will be eating and watching the OU Sooners STOMP the OSU Cowgirls, I mean Cowboys, into the ground. That was for all my OSU family. It's a joke, Calm down.
Then Sunday we are off to Church. Hopefully we will be praying to win another game while playing in the state semi-finals.
Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving. Love y'all and continue to pray for us!

W-A-R-R-I-O-R-S!

WASHINGTON WARRIORS

Well it's been a good year so far. We are 8-3 for the year, and hopefully by bedtime tomorrow we will be 9-3.

We play Crooked Oak tomorrow for the second round in the playoffs. If we win this game, we will be in the quarter-finals of the state playoffs. And if we win this week, we will play either Colcord or Talihina. If Talahina wins, we play at home for the 3rd round. If Colcord wins, we play at Colcord. Colcord is a 3 1/2 hour drive so I hope
Talihina wins. But of course, I just hope we play really good tomorrow night.

The kids have been doing good this year. Brad seems to be enjoying it a lot. He is really glad to be back home. You know the saying,
"Home is where the heart is?", this is so true for Brad. He has always been a "Washingtonite". He is really proud of his team. He is happy for their success, and I know he is praying on a far run in the playoffs.

Well if you have been praying, continue to do so. I pray for Brad and the team all the time. Brad and I prayed last night together before we went to bed. Say a little prayer for the Warriors tomorrow. I'll let you know how it went. Happy Thanksgiving next week to you all. Have a blessed holiday.

Halloween 2010

Halloween was a lot of fun this year! We took the girls saturday evening to trick or treat. Brad said we had start at 6:00 when it began so that we could get back for the OU game. Of course most of you know that Brad and I are huge OU fans. Our girls got their hospital pictures taken in their OU gear. It's kinda cult-ish how big of Sooner fans we are.

The girls were princesses this year. Kelby was Sleeping Beauty and Briley was Snow White! They loved their costumes. They danced around the house in them and just admired themselves in the mirror when they got the chance. Kelby would, of course, pose for the camera.

Briley's toe is a lot better. She still didn't want to wear shoes, but I made her because it's gettin cold outside. She was a cute little Snow White.

She likes to pose for the camera too. These are her flirty looks!

Brad and Me with our Girls!
We went trick or treating all by ourselves this year. It was the first time ever. Brad usually has film study, but he got it done early so we could take the girls trick or treating.

This is kinda of an embarrasing pic.
I dressed up like Brad in 20 years after coaching. I dressed up for Awana at our church. I was gonna be Wilma Flinstone, but my dress was a little short so I nixed it because it was church. Too many munchkins running around.
She loves candy!!!
This one loves candy just like her Daddy!

They are my bundles of joy!
